I commissioned Cimmaron Singh as the exclusive photographer at the Dawat e Walima hosted by me for my son, Saif Ali Khan’s wedding with Kareena Kapoor.
A very elegant & private affair, comprising of close friends & family, it was important that the atmosphere retained a sense of intimacy & privacy devoid of a barrage of shutterbugs. Cimmaron moved around unobtrusively, capturing some memorable footage of that evening. From candid moments to family portraits in both colour & black & white images; she documented the reception beautifully. Both Saif & Kareena were also very happy with their photographs.
These images found their place in 2 personally designed coffee table books, 1 of which I gave to Saif & Kareena & the other lies with me. I am glad I chose Cimmaron to capture this special event in our family.
